Vintage Antique Mission Arts and Crafts Quarter Sawn Oak Rocking Chair Restored. First the chair was clean it was sitting in a barn for a while and smelled like one.

It was then re-glued back together basically it was in pieces. The chair was then sanded down.

A nice mahogany stain was applied to give it the beautiful color it has now. Oil-based polyurethane was applied for a beautiful waterproof long-lasting finish. I usually don't but I did this one in a gloss finish which has a little more shine but I think it works well on this piece.
