Davis Antiques is owned & operated by Ronnie & Bobbie Davis of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. We have been in the antique business for over 20 years.

There is No Veneer used in this bookshelf. The back is not an oak veneer, but tongue & groove planks made of cedar. It has an 18 3/8" X 7 3/4" footprint, which is not a whole lot of space.

The legs on this doll are a showstopper. The bottom shelf is about 9 off the floor.

The bottom shelf is about 15" wide X 6 3/4" deep. The middle & top shelves are both about 15" wide X 5 7/8" deep. The distance between the shelves or "headspace" starting at the top and counting down; 14", 12" & 12.

The sides of the bookshelf have beautiful "Tiger Oak" pattern in the oak. You can make out the "saw marks" on the front edges of the shelves. The shelves are fixed in place and do not adjust. It is well made and sturdy and has great "eye appeal".

To me, the dark reddish oak patina is wonderful with nice Oak grains showing throughout. Overall, it's a super cool piece that takes up minimal floor space and could go into any room of your home.
