Stunning Pair Harden Mission Arts & Crafts Rockers Oak w Leather Seats

Fabulously rare, unusual, large pair of commanding mission/arts & crafts "Sun-Ray" rockers by The Harden Line Co. Fantastic curved arms with thick pyramid posts, peaked back, tapered "sun-ray slats" that also appear underneath the arms. One of the back slats was professionally replaced, fumed and refinished to match. Joints are mortise & tenon construction with wood pegs.

Sometime in the past, small steel "L" brackets were added under the arms, but they are solid and seem superfluous. They have new waterfall front sewn, rich coffee brown, leather upholstery on the original, re-tied, sprung steel cushions that fit like a glove. The rocker rails are in great shape and have felt on them.

The pair is ready for a new home, library, office, lodge or cabin. They are super comfortable, esp. With the curved back and bowed armrests, each sit marvelously. The wood patina and fumed quartersawn flake is a beautiful deep rich dark mission oak color that really is distinguished! Each is signed/labeled by Harden (Harden Line).

Wear consistent with age and use. Reupholstered a few years ago with Full-Grain Espresso Brown Leather. I do not accept eChecks.
