This Stickley Mission Collection Roycroft Oak Chafing Dish Cabinet is a beautiful piece of furniture identical to the original - the famous 055. This stunning piece of mahogany stained furniture will immediately bring character to any room or Arts & Crafts collection/decor. Crafted from solid oak and featuring a stunning mahogany brown color, this cabinet is perfect for those who appreciate the mission/arts & crafts style.
There is a shaded light on the top behind the leaded glass (very nice looking when lit in a darkened room). This rare cabinet has an original design dating back to late 1800's. It is truly a one-of-a-kind piece - perfect for collectors and those who appreciate the beauty of very well-crafted furniture. ISSUES - Yes, there are issues; two are noticeable and one not as much. Firstly, there is a missing rear panel. That panel was intentionally removed by the original owner (for a unique use we're told) and misplaced upon transferring estates. Secondly, there is an area of wear on the top right-side rear edge; not deep and with the proper refinishing of just that area - good as new. Lastly, the skeleton key only moves the lock halfway in or out.
Not too sure if it needs a replacement key or lock, but we did want to note it. The above, somewhat minor, issues are taken into account and are reflected in the low price we have on this item. Stay Safe out there and Happy eBaying!
