STICKLEY BROS QUAINT FURNITURE ROCKER/ROCKING CHAIR. This Mission Arts & Crafts rocker was made by Stickley Bros Quaint Furniture in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the early 1900s.
The intact metal label (see photo) is the first label used by the company. The oak rocker is in very good antique condition. Please see all of the photos since they are part of the description.The cushion fabric is replacement but is an appropriate design for the Arts & Crafts period. The thick fabric is in excellent condition with no stains or holes. The rocker measures 34 inches to the top of the horizontal back rail and 35 inches to highest point vertical point. The width is 26 inches, measuring the widest point of the arm rests at the front of the chair.
The depth is 23 inches. The rocker is quite comfortable and works for reading for long periods with its padded seat.
