This mission/arts and crafts solid, white oak rocking chair / "rocker" was made by Limbert; circa 1910. Signed with branded trade mark. The elegant, 5-slat back, long corbels, frame, mortised arms and rockers are made with solid oak. The 3/4 thick arms and curved back and many of the face pieces are quarter-sawn oak and show lovely wood graining.
The piece, including the rockers, is very solid, with a beautiful, rich patina. The chair is in its original condition, not refinished.
