Limbert Quarter Sawn Oak Mission Style Rocking Chair Leather Seat Restored. The chair needed a complete restoration. First it was completely scrubbed down to remove all the old grime and the finish which destroyed by a piece of leather put on the back and it was tacked in. When I took the leather off the back it was completely discolored.

So it had to be restored. The chair was then lightly sanded.. A matching stain was applied. The chair was then completely coated in Linseed oil which helps moisturize the wood and add a nice luster. Then different waxes and oils.

Were applied for a beautiful natural finish.. The seat is a beautiful red leather. I'm very pleased with the finished product. I always try to leave the original finish but the finish was to damaged.
