It measures 14" tall, 8 1/2" wide and 5 deep. It has a Seth Thomas chiming movement with brass face. Gustav Stickley's logo of a joiners compass and the Flemish phrase "Als ik kan" ("To the best of my ability") is cast into the brass face, and branded into the wooden back panel of the clock. The clock has some "issues", all easily repaired or replicated.
The minute hand is missing. The clock does not currently keep running, but it IS all there, and likely just needs a cleaning after 115 years.
The 6-panel leaded glass "window" in the front door panel is missing, also easily fabricated. The original consisted of 6 small clear rippled or crackle glass leaded together with soldered lead came. The sliding wooden "latch" for the front door panel is missing, though I have the wooden knob I believe is original to it, and the little oak tab from the inside that the simple wooden bolt originally slid on.If you'd like to see a real appraisal of this very model of clock, Google "Antiques Roadshow" and "Stickley Clock".
