C1900 Outstanding WIDE ROYCROFT SOLID TIGER OAK Mission Arts Crafts Antique Frm

This is an outstanding c1900 solid quarter sawn tiger oak mission arts/crafts frame. This is possibly a Roycroft frame (as they used this construction style). Beautiful 3 wide solid tiger oak with excellent graining and solid lap joint construction with corner backing screws.

This is not dark fumed, nor is it golden in finish, but more a medium honey tone with great patina. Condition is excellent with minor wear and a few scratches. Measures 19 3/4 x 23 1/4 with a 14 1/2 x 18 rabbet and the original narrow gilded liner. A fantastic, high quality period arts & crafts/mission frame perfect for a woodblock, watercolor or painting.
