Beautiful chair in somewhat good condition for the age. The back of rocker is gently curved for a more comfortable and natural fit. No markings found anywhere except a 440 written on bottom wood panel which holds the leather covered cushion.
Edges of Leather underneath are loose a little at edges -- very minor glue or restoration there -- just when turning the cushion over does that show. The leather is worn a little in the seat, you will notice in the images --not through or with holes, just the top layer a little worn & it has not been treated in any way or attempted with any polish to make it better so you have an untouched, original state chair-- Mentioned already is the fact that there is creaking when rocking -- still works just fine and is not in major need of any kind of repair whatsoever, however, especially larger folks will feel more safe in the chair when filler/wood glue (whatever) is used to help tighten the aged wood and loosened planks. Turned it over to discover anything and everything. When we just turned the chair back into the right position, a long screw fell out from somewhere -- It will be included (taped to bottom of chair)....
It will be listed as a pick-up only. Measurements gathered: Seat Cushion is 16 inches at smaller end and 19 inches at larger end / 15.5 inches in Width. Rocker length is 31.5 inches. Arm Rest to back of chair is 20.75 inches. Back of chair across is 18 inches -- Top of Back to Rocker is 36 inches -- Cushion to ground is about 14.5 inches -- Vertical Wood slated panels on back of chair.
