Antique Mission Revolving Oak Bookcase. Made by Sargent Manufacturing Co in the 1900' with brass plaque attached to the top shelf. Bookcase is made of solid oak and features a revolving base as well as steel wheels for rolling around.
It has three large shelves for storing books, collectibles, etc. Bookcase has slatted sides and large round "buttons" that cover the screw holes. The bookshelf sits on a round, stacked wood base with round wooden balls that the bookcase rotates around on.
It has a metal bracket that also spins that can be attached to the shelf unit. I believe there is a piece of wood missing that should be attached to the bottom of the bookcase and then to the bracket. Item measures 19 1/4" long x 17 3/4" wide x 43 tall overall.
The top is 17 3/4" x 17 3/4". The shelves are 17 3/4" x 17 3/4". First shelf is 11" tall, next shelf is 11 1/4" tall and bottom shelf is 11 3/4 tall. Item is very solid, heavy and sturdy with age appropriate finish wear.
The top has two age cracks near the center as well as finish wear/staining, but shelf is still solid. There are four buttons missing on one side and 10 on the other. Shelf spins around easily and rolls great as well.
