Note the ring mark and other wear on the top in photo #5/6. To use the desk top, open the top "drawer" (pull like a standard drawer) - see photo #6.

Then, pull on the right hinge to release and drop the drawer front. Measures in total 37.25"h x 27.5"w x 12d (excluding handles). Pull out desk top: 28h from floor. 26"w, 19"d (all the way to the back of the desk).
