Antique Mission Quarter Sawn Oak Arts & Crafts Drop Front Secretary Desk w Key. Offered for your consideration is this Antique Mission Quarter Sawn Oak Arts & Crafts Drop Front Secretary Desk with Key & with a Bottom Bookshelf.
This little honey was crafted in a Stickley design and was manufactured circa early 1900's. It features fully furnished internal desk compartments with 2 drawers, French dovetails, square quarter sawn oak cut wooden drawer pulls, and functioning locks on the lower drawer as well as the slant front desk. It measures 32-1/4" wide x 41-1/4" high x 16-1/4 deep with all hinges and mechanisms functioning properly. Full depth of the desk is 27-1/4 with the writing surface in horizontal position.
It still retains the original factory record tag at the back. The top crest is fastened via the old thumb-wheel turn lock-downs that can be viewed on photo number 8.
