Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Oak 4 Drawer Filing Library Sole Cabinet Makers
I only needed the desk and dont have a need for (or room for) this filing cabinet so I thought I would offer it to someone that cant appreciate it. The filing cabinet is signed Library Bureau Sole Makers on a brass tag under the second drawer. This filing cabinet has paneled sides and back.
The file measures 17-1/2 wide x 27 deep x 51 1/2 tall. It is a beautiful warm golden oak.
You will note a substantial gouge in the upper right corner at the top drawer. I believe that could be lessened what that little light elbow grease and some 000 steel wool.If I were going to keep it I would probably relocate that drawer to the bottom. I have noticed an older crack in the upper right corner of the left side as evidenced in the photos provided. The previous owner used hanging files and thus the adjusting rods have been removed. I have also noted that the track on the bottom drawer is missing but the track for the cabinets sides remain. Having said that, the door does glide ease in its present condition.
The 11th photo will show a crack in the front right bottom of the drawer. We are two hours east of Columbus, two hours south of Cleveland, two hours west of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I will work with your shipper. If you dont have one, I suggest you contact uship. Depending on where you are I may have some other suggestions for shippers.
