This piano has a very rich history. It was manufactured in Chicago and spent the first years of it life playing for silent films until 1906 when it was moved to Boulder Colorado to the Curran Opera House, where it spent the next era of it's life playing for silent films, musicals and operas. In the mid 1920's, the theater retired the silent film program when it adopted the "Talkies" and the piano was given to the pianist as a gift for her retirement. The piano ended up in Phoenix, Arizona in the late 80's and was acquired by me August 29, 1992. There are 3 chipped keys.
